Melissa (Melissa officinalis)

This oil is a strong tonic to the nervous system. Can be helpful for anxiety, panic, vertigo, depression and nervous tension. Soothing when experiencing grief, shock or bereavement. Assists in lowering high blood pressure and regulating the menstrual cycle. As an antispasmodic, helps the respiratory system with asthma, bronchitis and chronic coughs. Can have a cooling effect on fevers and ease headaches. Use in moderation.

Citronella (Cymbopogon Winterianus)

A strong fragrance best known as an insect repellent. Used by the Chinese for headaches, migraines and rheumatism. Can be used as an antiseptic to sanitize kitchen counters, chopping blocks and cutting boards. Use candles scented with Citronella to repel insects. Avoid diffusion or inhalation by persons with heart problems as it increases the heart rate. This fragrance is considered to be pungent by many people.
